As I shared w/ friends on WaltherForums.com the shooting bug has bitten rather late in life but I am definitely having fun.
My AR10 should arrive tomorrow and while I wait for optics I'll read the manual, practice tear down and cleaning, and peruse these pages for 'the finer points'. Thanks for having the site up and the warm welcome given to new folks.
Let me be the first to welcome you...
As for the late in life, I can relate to that my self....I too was a latent AR owner...once I passed by all the follies of Youth... :woohoo:
Practice is good....it is a good thing to know your weapon inside and out, at least that is what my SGT always told me.....that way you know when something is not right.
We have a wealth of information in the various categories, feel free to roam around discover what you need....but if you need assistants, don't hesitate to ask.
Once again welcome to the site....and by the way....Loved the movie...LMAO....

Welcome! I remember the days after my AR-10 came and I was waiting and waiting and waiting for my Leupold to come back from the custom shop. If only they made the M1 target knobs and an illuminated reticule back when I bought mine.
