Happy new year to all. I'm new to your site and new to the AR 10 world. I've owned multiple 308 black rifles through the years (FAL's, HK variants, Saiga) and none of them have been up to snuff acuracy wise so down the road they go. I am hopping this build I'm about to finish lives up to what my 24" AR-15 will do. I live to build my own guns. AR15's, 1911's, Springfields, M1917 Enfields. Anything WWII vintage (even the French rifles are fun but dont tell nobody).
I traded for a new armalite striped lower and ended up with less than $200 in it after it was done. $100 for the lower, $65 for the pars kit, I had the stock and traded for the buffer and spent $35 on the trigger. The uppers getting a 26" bull barrel and I am bolting on a Bushnell 3200 elite 8-24x40 A.O. Mill Dot. I hope it'll beat MOA and hit a silhouette target at a grand. I know, i dont want much. Anyway, great to be a part of a forum and hope to gain lots of valuable info from you all.

Well here it is. Hope you can see the pic. She came in just a shade over 14 lbs loaded. I would love a little input on breaking in the barrel if anyone has any.
