I am really new to the AR world, but I am becoming more and more addicted to these rifles. I apologize in advance for any seemingly silly questions.

I just recently bought an AR 15. Now, in the natural progression of gun addiction, I need a heavier round with a longer reach. An AR10 with a .308 round seemed like a good idea. I'm looking at an Armalite. This is pretty close to what I am looking at locally:

I am already set on a free-float handguard. Does anyone know anything about Armalite barrels? Are they pretty accurate out of the box? What sorts of upgrades would you guys suggest with this rifle? I'm obviously looking at long range shooting.
