Well I feel honored, I do try to make new-comers welcome if I can catch their posts. As for the "title", can we just go with the "Greeter" not to sure about the "goodwill ambassador" although I feel it is an honor of course, and thanks for the honor as well.
I guess, since I am the "Official Greeter" then I nominate MSH as this sites "Official GUN SMITH", I mean since we are nominating individuals, and he knows more about the AR-10s then most of us put together. I will have to think of one for ZFK55, being he has a vast array of knowledge as well, that he shares with us....

Ok, I figured out one for Zfk55....."Official Load Master"
being his long experience with reloading and other facets of the ammo world ...I think it fits him nicely...

Well I will have to write a speech or something where is the mic. Its a better group here than anywhere else. We are lucky that the price of the rifles are a bit higher because you don't get the riff-raff or sniping on a related site such as this. And that is a strong statement. I would like to keep things focused and on topic, how to, and tech related, and I need to keep some of my opinions out myself but on the eng side of things it hard. Some products or designs are crappy.MSH

Well I guess it is settled, when the boss returns, you will be the "Official AR10T Gun Smith"....if he so agrees.
As for your opinion as you stated, hey that is why you are you and we turn to you for the honest flat out truth...
and it adds some color to everything as well, so don't change that....

Hello all-
My name is John and I have owned my AR-10 since '96.
I live in the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia and miss varmint hunting with my 10 since the assault weapons ban was ammended in 2000 to include it.
Only place I'm allowed to shoot is a range.
Havn't shot it in quite awhile.

Well JRH (John) welcome to our happy home away from home.
Sorry to hear about Comi fornia, I also know a few other AR owners there so you are not alone in your dismay. I would like to offer the hand of fellowship to you in welcoming you to thee only site dedicated to The AR-10 and it's siblings...LOL and the various counter parts.
Hope to hear from you on the board, we have a lot of categories to choose from feel free to post a comment or ask any questions you may have. We also have a nice Picture Gallery, you should give a look, and again feel free to post a picture of your weapon and yourself, we always like to see pictures of our fellow AR owners...

Hi.Thank you for this forum.
My name is Stefan and I'm from Amsterdam Holland.
I am the proud owner of a dutch A.R.10
It's a portugees model and it was made in 1960.
Her name is Betsie and she shoots perfect.
20mm at 100 meters with standard ammo.
I also have an upper in carabine dimension but it misses some parts.I am looking for a complete ejectionportcover.
Pin ,spring and portcover.
In Holland I can not find it.Are these items availleble in America?
