Greetings,
Born and raised in Indiana all my life. Grew up on the farm. Fired long guns since I was 8. Finally started with pistols at 15. Only shot by myself.
Only child syndrome. Started collecting when I received my grandfathers Model 12 Winchester..... Been a terrible disease, never have over come it.
My father passed a decade ago and I acquired what he had been suffering from... Now I know how I was afflicted. It was a gene issue. Anyway I'm a one a year purchase. Name a caliber, probably have one.
But I selected a AR10 SASS with a 5.5x25-50 Nightforce.
Got the case to hold it. And a 762sd can. So I can shoot out to 800 or so and still be on my dirt. Enjoy the accuracy of the barrel. She out preforms these old eyes. Shot some competition 20 years ago. Finished 8th out of 72 shooters. Old M1 Garand, one guy said how long you been shooting. I said.
First paper targets I ever shot..... Mostly dirt clods and corn cobs......
Sad but true... Any way. Shoot mostly .45s, was into .44s and .357s when I was younger. I like wheel guns over automatics, but the gold cup holds a good group.. Also have build a Remington on a McCree Stock in 308.
Like a bolt gun also.
Will enjoy watching and reading the comments in the future,
Practice to protect, stay safe to survive, always be prepared...
