was wanting to build a couple, (6.5 and 338 fed), i've read thru different forums, that mega makes the receivers for s&w but nobody truly can answer any questions about the m&p10 I know they are propietary on 90% of their rifle, internals are 100% (as far as upper). it sucks as far as the 10 world, the 15 world, if it says mil, it will world. no so in the 10 world, so many manufactors doing their own thing just wished there was some standard
