I wrote most of this in my profile but anyway, I love the black guns, and yes I have an AR 10 with a 6x32x44 Muller scope, and a 1800 Lumen light mounted on it. Been loading 168 grain A Max with 44 grains of BL-C(2), got 2 coyotes in last couple of weeks, both at about 175 yds. I am now going to start experimenting with a 308 cast bullet, that I make my self, with Gas Check they weigh about 184 grains, info I am seeing I am going to start at 12 grains of Unique, I do not know if this will cycle the gun or not, if any one has used this or close to this data I would like to hear from you or you can tell me to throw away the mold and stick with the A Max bullets, but I got 600 pounds of lead and I will never use that much for what pistol shooting I do. I have 4 reloaders, 1 is Dillon RL 550B, 1 is 4x4 Rcbs, 1 is RCBS Rock Chuker and 1 seldom used Lee. I have several bullet molds, most for pistol but a couple for rifle.
Welcome to the forum JH.
Please keep us posted on How the lead cast bullets does. Might be some mighty useful information. Especially when I am the lead king. LOL
I must have a ton of the stuff all melted into ingots.
