The motto of the Gurkha soldier;

"Better to die than be a coward"

The knife is officially a Khukuri but Gurkha is much easier to pronounce and remember! :usa:

They are extraordinary. www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-12961...-Thank-God-side.html

JT- The one on the right is a special light weight one made with a thin blade of tool steel. Something used for training future warriors. As I have stated before my boys come with a advanced skill set.
If son #1 goes over the fence after OP 40, and his CO is OK with it the middle one will go with him.

I'd be interested to see any special uses for this knife, I'm betting they could show me a thing or two I haven't seen.
Other than flying, courthouses, and fed buildings I carry a fighting knife everywhere. Must have been about 5 when I started carrying a pocket knife and have carried one Gerber or another since 1983. Thankfully they've mostly been used to cut strings and clean my fingernails.........
but just in case it's always there :usa:

You never heard much about their service, like our SpecOps used to be, wish the politicians would have left them silent and deadly like intended. :twocents:
