Everything I have found regarding brass length is 2.015" max length. 2.005" is the trim to length. What is too short? If I have brass at 2.000" is that fine? Looking for some information. Am new to reloading and can use all the info I can get. Thanks in advance.
I've run new brass that was 2.00. You'll be fine as long as you're not running super long oal, which you won't. You'll have to seat to fit your mag. Make sure you full length resize.

This. The "trim to" length is used if you prefer to trim cases prior to FL resizing. If you trim after resizing, then use the case OAL of 2.015.

I trim after FL resizing. And use the case OAL of 2.015. That way I know that the sizing process is not introducing a small variability into the case length, however small it may be.
