Welcome aboard Mike! :welcome:
My first foray into loading for my AR-10 has been with H4064. I've only tried 175 SMK's so far and not many but I had consistent results across the whole load range. I started loading last winter so I didn't find many choices in powder but it has worked out anyway. :usa:

Welcome to the forum!

So, I have to ask about your use of the AR10 in service rifle competition. Basically, I want to know everything. I've yet to find any information from anyone using one this way. Is it competitive? Are you using it across the course, or just in long range prone? How do you like shooting from position with it? What kind of scores are you getting?

I want to compete across the course with my DPMS LR-308, but haven't had a chance yet. So, naturally, I'd like to know everything you can tell me. :)

As far as the loads I'm using, it's mostly 168 grain HPBT's and 42.5 grains of IMR4895 in LC 66 Match cases with Federal GMM large rifle primers. I haven't gotten to shoot since I moved, so the load will need to be adjusted for the increased elevation (going from less than 100 feet above sea level to a mile above is bound to have some effect).

Again, welcome to the forum. I hope you have a great time here. :)
