Anything you already own is better than something you have to go buy.
Since your rifle has an A2 carry handle it's unlikely you want to plop a 25x riflescope on it.
The fixed 4 power will be easy on your eyes but the 20mm objective will cut down on the amount of light that makes it through.
Never used one personally but having an Aimpoint mounted on the carry handle of my Bushy (sold recently) I really liked the height of the aiming device for fast target acquisition.
p.s. from the look of your avatar you are hunting prehistoric mammals so you might want to consider a larger caliber Something like a 20mm might be better for varmints that size
old colt originals have value with the retro crowd going for that authentic look.
as far as usefulness goes...LebbenB pointed it out, we have much better options these days. The scope itself was of good quality, but the mount was not repeatable and would shoot lose frequently.
What I would like to see is a short light fixed 4x scope built in a 50mm tube. no ranging reticle or bdc, just a plain duplex crosshair.
something with comfortable eye relief and a huge fov that would work on any rifle, any caliber.
