Microstamping, or ballistic imprinting, is a patented process that uses laser technology to engrave a tiny marking of the make, model and serial number on the tip of a gun’s firing pin to allow an imprint of that information on spent cartridge cases. Supporters of the technology say it will be a “game changer,” allowing authorities to quickly identify the registered guns used in crimes.

Followed ny mandatory registration and later confication. :huh:

That aint nothing a change of firing won't get round? See I am just not sure the guvment has our best interest at heart here? Beside how deep can this be meaning how long could it last? Won't wear off with time and use? Just say'in I take mine plain please.

I think I'll keep my guns free of government crap. Another reason to buy more now!
