Hello all I am new to the world of AR 10's however have handled many many M4's M16's through my 10 years in the army. I am seriously considering the Bushmaster 308 ORC because of price and fondness of bushmaster products. I do however have a question about this weapon. Can you put a front sight on the gas block or do you need to add a rail style hand guard to do so? I will be adding flip up/down iron sights because they are a great backup and in my mind a must have. what is a good choice as far as hand guards with the rail? from what I understand you have to get the LR308 ones that are lower profile and SR 25 Mags am I correct?
