I recently puchased a preloved AR10 on whim mostly, it just looked sooo cool. A pawn shop special. I had just purchased a new Glock 23 a few days prior at the same place swaping out a new Sig P250 sub comp. which I hated. I had looked at the AR at that time and went back for an upgrade slid release and ghost trigger for the Glock a few days later. The AR was still there at $1100. Got him down to $850. It's an Armalite flat top I think, has a Barska 3x9-42IR (piece of crap IMO), a bipod which is cool, 1-10 rn mag, 1-20 rn, plus the case. I've taken to the range only once and I loved it. This thing is sweeeeet. All went well till I tried Herters steel case ammo. Expect some may find that amusing, Who Knew? What's not funny is I had bought 1000 rns of this crap, $409. NOT FUNNY Hence the saying " No fool like an Old fool" I'll tell latter about the magazine quest I've been on. This is getting waaay too complicated. Well hello to every one, I'm in St. Louis, I'm from the Peoples Republic of Illinois originally. Still hoping they'll discover the Second Amendment.
That's rough on the ammo. let that happen to me once, my son wanted quantity over quality for his birthday at the range, and we got burned on turkish junk. Still had a great time.
