Hi folks, I'm John. Haven't done much rifle shooting, mostly bird hunting and hand gun competition shooting. Not much of a deer hunter, cold,wet and maybe get to shoot once.

I have a armalite AR 10T coming, thought I'll like to try some long range shooting (sniper stuff). Sounded interesting and I located a Gun Club in Como, MS (near me) that has a range out to about 600 yds. Got a scope yesturday and didn't even know what all the knobs did.

Being new to this type shooting, I'll probably have a lot of really dumb questions, so cut me some slack.

By the way, Reaper was a call sign in VN, sounded tough, but really I was thinking "you reap what you sow".

Welcome, and please ask your questions without worry. Nobody here is going to flame you for what you do not know. I think you'll find folks here will appreciate your honesty about your knowledge level and willing to provide help. I'll answer what I can. I might rib ya a little though, all in good fun.
