EAGLE ARMS 24" MATCH BARREL W/INCORRECT GAS PORT was created by THREEDFLYER
Talked to Dave (Armalite gunsmith) today and apparently there are approx 100 Eagle Arms 24" match barrels out there with an undersized gas port.
These have a gas port dimension of .078 (5/64") and should be .084

My rifle was short cycling and I was able to narrow it down to the gas port sizing.

Two options...drill out the port yourself (which is what I did) or send it back to Armalite. It's really an easy fix.
I used a #45 (.082) numbered drill and now the rifle functions flawlessly!
