The past month or so has been incredibly tough. I've been working 18 hour days for the past three and a half weeks.
Most of those days I've not even sat down in front of my computer. I've got about two more weeks of this before things go back to some sort of normalcy.
In the mean time I hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for hunting season
I'm doing well and from personal experience, 18 hour days are no fun at all. I'm out on Martha's Vineyard and will be home in a couple of days. It's sunny and grueling warm here. The beer is cold and the lobster is dripping with butter..... :twothumbs:
My AR10 is ready to go and when I get back I'll be heading to the range sometime next week... :twothumbs:
As of last week, I went into semi-retirement, working only 2 days a week. So far I am thinking I am still working too much as my wife now has a long honeydoo list. I thought I was going to have more time to shoot and reload. Silly me....

Ain't that the truth! I'm down to 32 hours a week and still can't get to the range once a week. Sigh.
We're far enough along in our project that I was able to kick back today and take the girls to gymnastics class and just hang out around the house today.
I had a contractor give me a price of nearly $400,000 and completion date of October 30th for something I needed done by next Wednesday. In the end I'm getting it done for under $200,000 and we will be 98% finished by Monday.
The cost savings is netting me a nice little bonus. Hopefully things are going to slow down dramatically in the next week. Usually I'm in an office but for the last 7 weeks I've been doing carpentry, laying tile, electric, plumbing, ..., you name it.
Looking forward to being able to read up on all the posts over the last month and get back into the swing of things.
Do we need a pledge thread. Pencil it in and stick to it, take a hard line stance on your shooting. Sometimes if you can draw in others it works out better, at least its adds credibility to your habit.

Not a bad idea Lib. I may be moving to an area with far less opportunity to shoot. I better get mine in quick!
