I reckon then the good news is that you aren't hurt and your rifle is ok.

I've heard of it, but never seen it in the wild.

Varget sighted in Kalifornia again. Doesn't stick around long though.

I've kinda lost the enthusiasm to reload, since my stock of Lead bullets are now verboten in the whole State now...

Wow, has it been a year since I posted this.........Well, my AR-.243 is complete and now I am getting ready for hunting season. Found some great triggers at JSE for $95 ea and having QD mounts installed for my suppressor. I used a McGowan barrel on the .243 and I'll tell you its a nice piece of work. As for reloading this is where I am;
.308 168grn Barnes TTSX w/ 43grns CFE223 sub 1in groups @ 100
.260 129grn Hornady SST w/ 46grn H4831 Sub 1in groups @100
.243 90gr Nosler BT w/42.8 Super performance
6.8SPC 110gr Hornady V-Max w/28.8grn H322
I have dialed in the .308 and .260 but not the .243 or 6.8 just need off long enough to get some range time.
