I thought the same, guess I never had any data to back up the thought short of the price points. I've always heard good things from people that reload with Norma brass.
Back in the 70's, Norma factory ammunition was always hotter than the other brands. I remember buying some 357 Magnum JSP's for a backpacking trip in bear country, and when I tested the ammo, flames came out of the barrel! There were no signs of overpressure, flattened primers, bulged cases, etc., but that ammo was a fire breather. Also the Norma 30-06 ammo gave a lot more recoil then comparable Remington Federal and Winchester loads back then in a bolt action rifle from a bench. I don't know if that is still the case, but I always had a box of Norma around in my favorite calibers.
