I dont know if the Partizan ammo is any good or not, it says boxer primed, brass case and non corrosive. $12.99 a box.
Any hints or suggestions ???

Sharkey likes the Partizan ammo. I have some but haven't shot it. I understand their NATO spec ammo is good.

If it is ammunition, anything that Sharkey likes should be good enough for Mine AR10.

I'm pretty sure virtually ANYONE can attest to the fact that I AIN'T NO GURU Marty but as far as the lower priced ammo goes, I've had very good luck with the Prvi Partizan stuff. I've shot pretty much everything they have for SP down to 150 grains and liked it a lot but am really liking the 168 HP match ammo for a while now.

I also noticed it holds accuracy through a warm/hot barrel better than the hollow point stuff and I've always had trouble waiting more than a few seconds between shots so it's been working well for me.

I was shooting holes into quarters at 100 yards for my sons a month ago and 1 50 cent piece for my wife with it.

7 shots with 4 holes thru 4 quarters, 2 side-swipe quarters with offset cuts in em and right through the head on the half dollar... :)

When my oldest son saw the half dollar he said "Dad, you shot Kennedy!!!".... :laugh:

Also, since I went with the adjustable stock and the shorter recoil tube, my rifle has NOT been liking the 150gr SPs. It does "OK" with them but my 10 year old was shooting some and I had a few ftf's with em and then 1 or 2 more while I was burning up the last of it.

170 "Thunder/Grom" has been real nice though and of course the 180s are always a solid round for dependability and the accuracy has been "good" but I'm sure nothing I shoot is as accurate as some of these $2 per pull stuff some of the other guys throw down...

I've never tried anything lower than 150 though and now won't go below 165 just due to my own "feelings" of how things flow... Essentially, I've NEVER had to dick around with the heavier stuff so why mess with a good thing... :)
