aluminum follower from armalite was created by bigwheel
Just put the aluminum follower in a mag today. No instructions on drilling and pinning the mag hold open pin. Also the taper on it has to be filed to get it to operate. The mag spring also has to be bent around the
hold open pin or it rides on it so hard it won't operate. Not worth the effort. Why they don't sell them
ready to go is beyond me. Next time I'll stick to the plastic ones. anyone else had the pleasure?

I did not get as far before I gave up. I agree that they should just sell the mags complete with the aluminum follower.
