Awesome news! I like that the AR-10 keeps evolving.

Adding another "T" to the family is great news and great for shooters looking for ballistics not available in other calibers.

Thanks for sharing the news!

Ditto, this is awesome news. Unfortunetly for me, I just ordered a new barrel, 6.5/260rem, for my 10(T) two days before I read this great announcment. Now I'm sorta  of the soon to be new owners of the AR-10(T) .260rem.

Hey "uncle", you sure weren't kidding me when you said they were coming out with one soon. That's REAL soon ! It sure looks good; but I'd hoped it would carry a longer tube, say 24 or even 26 inch. I can't see the message; but I think you said it's the first ; so there's more coming ? Where can I buy one for less than the MSRP ?

Charles,
You should go to your local ArmaLite dealer. Have him or her call his distributor or us here at the factory and put in an order. You know that dealer prices are all over the board, so shop around. One of the best ways to do that nowadays is to get onto gunsamerica.com and check out their "Buy On Demand" program. I just sent them the .260's photos and specs yesterday so it should be in the On Demand system by next week. You just plug in your zip code and it gives you the ArmaLite dealers closest to you. It also shows the price and how much of a deposit you have to put down. It'll be a few weeks before the guns are physically in the stores, but with the response we've had, pre-ordering is not a bad idea.

This is great news. I would like to see a hunting model. Something that could be carried. Thanks, Paul
