I have two pair of 5.11 boots. Only worn twice each and not more than a couple hours.

Decided they were to tight for my feet and put them away.

Both are size 10R.

I'm interested. Are the boots too narrow or too short?

I'm a 10B (narrow) in a Justin Roper, but can wear a 10R in some boots (like NewBalance).

Charlie (is _*NOT*_ looking forward to the day when everything is "Small, medium and large".)

For me they are just to narrow and tight on my feet, but I can get them on if need be.
