Have never shot any, but it the cartridge was built specifically for the SCAR.
Keep in mind when shooting an AR, many rounds that are lower than 150gr have been known to fail to cycle the action.
The light projectile and different powder may cause an issue. I generally stick with 168 and 175.
At $1 and round,.......plus shipping, not sure if it's that great of a deal or not.
To Me, a buck a round seems expensive for expermentation purposes. I do`nt believe with that light of a round that it could`nt build the pressure to cycle the bolt.
I like the 225 grain .308 rounds in a bolt action though. Extremely accurate, flat and fast so if I had a bolt action .308 I think they would be worth a shot.
Many years ago I had a .308 Winchester, pre 64 and sold it. :banghead: Sure wood be nicet to havit back.
OH well, I got a new tuh Mee Remmey 30-06 made in 1968, I think.
My bolt gun is a FN SPR-A1A that jp has had a bit of work done. It has a 20" 1:12 twist barrel, it may stabilize those. It loves 168 &175. Recoil aced the stock with a McMillan A2, it's been pillar bedded at MasterClass Stocks, trigger is set to 2.3 pounds, base was bedded, Mark IV rings and Mark IV 4.5-14x50 glass. Last time out, I was averaging .625" groups @100
Here's the ugly beast.......

I bet that short barreled critter really barks. :rotfl: I had a frien{now deceased} and He wuz a real short li`l feller, He used a youth model Remington{I think it wuz} with a real short barrel, that thing`d tear the ears off a elephant. :rotfl: Deadly accurate though, even on them longer shots.

I`d bet soo toooh, them 130s`d prolly wurk reeely gud in that. If they`re a gud consistent load, hand loads`d bee even bedder.
