A2 sight vs YH gas block w/ rail? was created by tulsatime
Would like to change out the standard A2 sight for the Yankee Hill front gas sight w/ rail. Can this be done and is it a good upgrade? I want to keep the tube and add a new sight that comes with a rail to mount a light, sling eyelet, or bipod. Thanks...

Wow. A year old and no reply! I'm sure the OP has decided by now, but for those wondering . . . I'll offer this. I have the YH-GS/FS on a DPMS 5.56 build. Works great. Once torqued, I have had no movement during firing , and I have NOT lock-tighted it, although I will when I get around to it.
