Joined the site 3 months ago after buying a T and had 3 scopes to choose from. After work stopped being a nightmare :woohoo: I finally decided to mount all 3 and let this hunting season decide which is best. Probably the cheap Konus. I posted pics with details last night.
I have ar-15 and using Vortex. It has really hıgh technology and you can use it for all weather conditions.fog-proof and waterproof makes it very effective. this site will help you and has good reviews.

Any particular range you'll be shooting at? A common mistake is getting to much magnification for the application. I have really liked the Bushnell SMRS 1x6.5, I've bought two versions. I'm not familiar with all the options you have in the Leupold AR line but something in that range should work for you unless your hunting in some wide open spaces then you may want to up it a bit.
Been seeing some issues with Nikon's on 308 AR's, they don't seem to be handling the recoil. Nikon has been making it right though. I have several Bushnell Elite models with many thousands of rounds on a 308 AR's between them and never had an issue.
All depends on the model you have, I have a Nikon M308 on mine. Zero problems during several thousand miles of travel (thanks Pelican) and several thousand rounds. It still shoots the box test with sub MOA accuracy.
