I'm curious as to the uses of "Aero Shell 33 MS". I know it can be used for barrel threads and the stocks' threads into the upper receiver. But can this be used for the bolt face (lugs)into the receiver extension? It seems like a perfect place to be, especially better than any type oil lube.(?)
Maybe a small amount on the back, contact portions, of the lugs. Other than during break-in you try not to get a lot of lube in the extension. I wipe a small bit of Slip EWL 30 on the back of the lugs for just a light film there. I grease the gas rings and the cam pin, the rest gets oil.
