Gas port sizes

Gas port sizes was created by WA-Tom
A customer has asked me to shorten his AR10 barrel. I am wondering if anyone has done this and has some suggestions about gas port sizes. It's starting out at 16" and he wants it at 12.5". If no one has any decent information, I will probably just shorten the barrel and test fire. If it doesn't cycle, I will start gradually opening the gas port.
