Armalite SASS vs DPMS SASS

Armalite SASS vs DPMS SASS was created by SamXBones
So, I've been doing a compare/contrast on the SASS, since I want one, and I've come up with several differences between the Armalite and the DPMS, the most striking one being the price listed on their respective website.

Is the Armalite SASS really that much better to warrant an almost double the price over a DPMS?

Is accuracy or max effective range greater with the Armalite?

Sam the DPMS has a heavier duty frame I posted some pictures on page 3 of the accesories for all to look at. It aint much difference other than the frame. Like I said on the other page I coached one of my NCOs to a win at tha sniper competition with a DPMS and good glass. We shot to 1050yds. When you get back east Sam we'll hook up and blast some.MSH

What do you say to the 18 inch DPMS barrel vs the Armalite 20 MSH?

It looks almost like the DPMS is a heavy fluted barrel and the Armalite is a regular barrel.

The DPMS you get a Redmington barrel Armalite you get the cheapest bidder.

So would it be safe to say that even with the 18" barrell, the DPMS SASS is just as accurate and has just as much effective range as the Armalite?

You get a good tube or it aint the range differance should be 200ft in the end as an example.

I have read articles on both,,,,being I have not shot either..they both have their points,,,,good and bad...and yes cost is one of them, but look at it this way, for what a M-110 SASS will cost (KAC), you could buy two DPMSs and one SUPER SASS.....other than that.........I think I will set this one out............for now :lol:

Could you be a little more specific on the location of these photos? I couldn't find them and would be interested to see the difference.
