Now that Armalite is commercially producing the .338 Federal and Federal is producing factory ammo I wonder if more people are going to be loading sub-sonic .338 ammo for their AR-10's?
Have they come up with a low BC bullet in 338 yet? Been one of those calibers that just
falls out of the air at 300 yards. We see an abundance of them for sale up here in Elk
country. The 300's and 7mm's are by far the preferred calibers.
Not that I've seen. Down here there is not much need for anything out past 225 yards. Many of the counties only allow shotguns for hunting and the game does not demand a large caliber bullet. At 300 yards I'd also side with the calibers you mentioned
