Haven't seen discounting on that round. You pay for the newest technology. What are you shooting it in? My understanding is that it was specifically designed forCQB and use with the FNSCAR 17. In 16 and shorter barrels, as an alternative to the M80 round. 130 grains might seem light but MV is 2900 feet per second. What kind of rifling twist are you shooting it out of? Always interested in performance with new technology. I know it is supposed to have improved barrier penetration over the M80 in short barreled weapons.

You're correct, this round was originally designed for SF units with the SCAR in mind along with other carbine length platforms. This is a sweet round, IMO, and Ive spoken to some of my shipmates that have had the opportunity to use it, and they seem to like it.
I haven't had the chance to fire it myself, so thats why I want to run it and see how it performs.
Ill be shooting it through my POF with 16.5" barrel length and "5R" Polygonal RH 1x10 twist. The MB is nice on this round.

I will keep my eyes open for it and let you know if I see some good deals. Black Hills sometimes will load up once fired Lake City brass with identical rounds to some the advanced military cartridges. You might try their website if you haven't already. The other place is of course, Ammo Finder. If and when I get a carbine, I may be looking for it myself.
