B) What a nice test. I love tests. Too bad they most likely won't do .308 test. I'd imagine now that it'd cost a fortune.

Like one of my favorite "sistas" on the internet says about reloading.

Just kidding. I reload often. We all know reloading would be better than all of the ammo they used. Reloading just isn't that popular with most people.

Excellent read! The gas port erosion photos were great.

And I know the lady in the photo/you tube video.

I had read that article before, it is excellent. I tend to stick to brass in my AR's simply as a gut feeling that that was what they were designed to shoot. That and reloading.i have heard negative reports on Brown Bear, the Tula report surprised me, but their explanation of a small gas port in the Bushmaster carbine makes sense that it wouldn't work so well. What would be nice would be if ammo manufacturers would start stating the powder characteristics of their loads on the box. It might not mean much to most people, but it could help to identify specific reliability problems with a specific weapon.

It's funny. I don't think I ever really even considered using steel. Something just seemed wrong about it since everything I have ever fired was either brass or shotgun shells.

I saw the steel stuff and probably just figured that since it was so cheap, there HAD to be some kind of catch to it.

When I came on here and started reading that it would void the warranty of the rifle with some companies, it just strengthened my belief and urge to steer clear.
