I already have an AR10B/308. My 10T/260 should arrive in a couple days. I will put a Weaver T15 scope on it and sight it in on Sunday. I'm anxious to see how it shoots compared to my Savage 243. I'll probably burn some ammo thru the 308 too.
Finally got to the range to sight in my new AR-10T/260. Easily got the rifle on target and found that it seems to like my 120 loads better than my 140's. I did not try the factory 140's. I noticed the mil spec springs in the mags were very stiff and hard to load but they functioned perfectly. No incidences at all.
I found that the Savage 243 zapped small rocks on the 200m berm but I need to put a similar scope on the AR-10 to make the contest even. All said I like the way the AR-10 shoots but I will put a different scope on it.
Put the Identical scope on the AR10-T as the Savage 243. Got it sighted in and proceeded to zap small rocks on the 200M berm. The AR10 with a Harris bi-pod could zap small targets with regularity just as I could with the Savage 243. I would have to call the contest even. That bolt action Savage is hard to beat. :woohoo:
