It is easy to answer this question ,Because Armalite builds a fine weapon and stands behind it . The service dept bends over bacwards to satisfy the customer.You can not build or buy a better AR10 style rifle for the money . Often copied,never equaled.

I try to keep things simple...... I love my Armalite because I have many times ..........emptied my .223 poodle poppers (colt AR 15, ruger mini 14 style rifles ) into my ranch stock tanks .......then I get my big boy AR10 out....... Then...... unload 20 rounds of .308 on an unsuspecting terrorist turtle........nothing like it.......sweetness. What a difference in power and feel. I won't even mention the week sister AK47 round.......what a joke ballistically compared to the .308. This is why I love my Armalite!!!!

I wanted a Knight's when they first came out but couldn't afford one (and $100.00 mags!!!).
I always thought the 308 in an AR platform would be an accurate combination and it took Armalite to put together an affordable rifle with high cap mags in the dark days of the AWB. I've met the Armalite crew at Camp Perry, they will do whatever it takes to help with any questions you have.
I have three Armalite AR10's and they are extremely accurate, my latest is a Navy Carbine and it is a tac driver.
