Curious? was created by revenuer
Just curious, where's the best place to buy AR10 parts if you were considering building one...best bang for your buck. Anyone build one for under a grand?

thanks,

I have seen more than 1 ar10 go for 800 to 900 lightly used. But I don't know much on compatibility between the .308 ar makers. I like armalite and rra for over all value in ar15's.
The fact rra took the time to tighten up the upper/lower fit tells me a little about them wanting
to do it just a bit better. Armalite is just hard to do better than as well. Wish I could help more.

I would consider Armalite's "Gunsmith kits" if you have access for the skills and tools needed.

That's from parts up assembly though. I took advantage of one of their special sales on a nice upper, combined with a lower, and called it good. Ran about $1200.
