My understanding was no. Many flavors out there now seem based on either the Armalite design, or the DPMS design. Someone told me there was in theory a way to modify them to join them up but it was an ugly horrible Thing That Should Not Be.
I have been researching this for awhile and actually found some answers.
The AR-10 has a 45 degree slant at the end of the receiver, where DPMS's is curved. DPMS's won't fit ArmaLite but it will work in revers.

Can DPMS/POF/KAC/RRA/ Larue Tactical upper be put on Armalite lowers
NO. The only uppers that can be put on Armalite lowers are Noveske, Eagle Arms, or Armalite with the "45" cut on the upper reciver vs the "rounded" DPMS style reciever . The new (11/08) LT uppers are based off the Kac design and the pins will not work even though the upper has the "45" style upper.
This is a copy/paste piece of info.
