Had a friend visiting who is just getting into AR's so we unloaded the safe of AR's AK's, 1911's and Sigs and a mess of targets, and went to the local range. Four hours and 400 rounds later, my shooting itch was finally scratched. Everything shot really well except for one dud primer in a 5.56 round. No pictures, but I am impressed with my sons improving marksman ability. He drills the 200 yard range with just about everything. I found some 1975 Indian Army 7.62 surplus that was giving me 2 inch groups at 100 yards. Not bad for 38 year old cheap ammo! Drew quite a crowd with the AR's and AK's. everybody wanted to talk guns. A nice day.
Very very nice........just because the ammo is old, does not mean it can not be relatively accurate. I have hit a torso target at 300, about a 8" grouping, with 1948 Lake City ammo in my 03A3
