Favorite ammo is Hornady Match (168gr BTHP, 155/168gr AMAX). Haven't tried the 155gr BTHP yet.
I have ALOT of German surplus, a couple hundred rounds of 168 FGMM, and various amounts of other types of ammo. But for some reason, not alot (100rds or so) of Hornady even tho it shoots better than everything I shoot thru both of my LAR8's. It will be the only ammo I shoot for accuracy as soon as I can afford to restock.
I have 1500 rounds of British made in England, I believe, of the milsurp NATO ball ammo, I sure hope it wurks "IF I EVER HAVE TO BREAK IT OUT", if that day ever comes.
Other than that, I have a bunch reloaded in various weights and grains, someday, I will take the time and try them out to see which Mine rifle likes the best.

That Radway Green is known to be some good stuff, you stashed well! :usa:
I try to stick with 168gr bullets as that is what the .308 was designed/famous for, I tried fusion and could not get a tight group out of my AR-10T. Went with barnes 168s on my next try and found they were pretty tight and consistent out to 400+ yards. One thing I did not like is they did not make much of an exit wound and just punched through. I think I am going to try some nosler ballistic tips next. I did have a problem with them in my .300 mag when they disintegrated coming out the barrel. I figured it was probably the twist rate on the thin bullets or the break. They fire well in my 7mm mag sendero so I will give them a try in the AR. I broke my barrel in with black hills moly coated and they shot fair but did not group well. I do reload so I will dial it in later.

When I was looking for to buy some ammo, I shopped around, a lot from all different countries.
Being England has self preserved for all these centuries, like Israel, I figured they`d probably put some pretty good quality into it. All loaded in stripper clips and bandoleros. I have not opened any of it for an inspection, thought breaking the seal could be worse for it, over the long term storage, than breaking the seal and taking a looksee.
Would it be good to break a seal, or, just leave it alone ???
I have it stored in My stash and do`nt remember what the ball weight of it is, I was thinking it was 150 or 155 grain.
I shoot mostly my hand loaded stuff but if we are talking about factory loads I like Federal GMM 168s a lot.
It seems to shoot well in every rifle I try it in.
I would like to try some GMM175s but every time I get in the mood to order some it is out of stock.
I have a 420 round can of Lake City M80 in bandoleers and stripper clips for my SHF stock.
