I am trying to learn the finer points of how the AR-10 functions and what works and why. 1st, The take down pins, my Armalite uses 7mm pins. They are decent fit, does the fit matter? 2nd, The trigger pins, I have read the standard pins are .153/.154 dia. My NEW Lower has pin holes that measure .1565 dia. Are they supposed to have a loose fit? Don't know if any of this matter's, hopefully one of you knows! Thanks, Bob.
Am I picking the fly S**** out of pepper? All of the talk of trigger geometry and fit. I thought that at least the trigger pit holes should be a precision fit. Could someone shed some light on this? Thanks, Bob.
