Just got to thinking about this, and out of curiosity, how many super sass owners on this particular forum?
Also, what was your particular reason for going with the sass over the 10T,GAP,Noveske,etc..?
It seems like every time I see them on the rack they sell out really fast, but out at the ranges I'm usually the only one that's even heard of it.
I don't own an OFFICIAL SASS...but I built mine to be that...sort of...
There are alot of SASS owners on here...but they only check in every so often..
You could check the Pic gallery and contact a few and let them know of this thread....
Welcome to the site....and let's see some Pics....
we like gun porn here... :woohoo:

i know, i'm one of those that only checks in every so often. i keep telling myself to participate in this forum more, but i get easily distracted. I'll tell about mine.
I bought mine while I was active duty, saved up for it while I was deployed. I knew I was going to get an AR10 when I got home and I knew what I wanted out of the weapon and what I wanted it to be. I explored every option available at the time, ie; noveske and gap and a few other custom shop rifles. In the end, the super sass was everything I was looking for out of the box. Being a hardcore DIY guy, I looked long and hard at building my own. Did a ton of parts shopping and number crunching. I could have built a really good shooter for less, but I could not have built THIS rifle for less. Armalite built a real winner with this and this is evident in how the rifle is so boringly complete. there is nothing more that can be done here. all I have changed is the trigger, swapped for a geissle dmr and installed a UBR stock because the PRS was too long for my kids.
I bought mine after I figured out the cost of upgrading an AR-10T. It would have cost more to upgrade and I am sure would not have come out as well. It was simple economics. Besides, when you upgrade, you have to get rid of all the parts replaced, and you will never get much for the used parts.
I bought mine when they first hit the civilian market a few years ago. I had to wait 4 months until it was shipped to my favorite gun shop. My SuperSASS is without the forward assist, which is no big deal to me because my first rifle on my 18th birthday was an original Colt SP1 plain Jane. I can honestly say I’ve never used a forward assist on several ARs I own. I shot years of competitive matches and often never clean them as I should, but they continue to run as expected with exceptional accuracy. I already had a Gemtech QD TRP-S suppressor I used on a host of rifles and both the SuperSASS and Gemtech is a great package to operate. It’s my favorite rifle set-up out of many I’m privilege to possess.

Hey my friend...there was one a few years ago...made by Cobb...it looked like an "oversized"
SASS...I was looking at it before I bought my AR-10...the price on the thing was well over 3K.
I did some digging...maybe this would suit you....
