Our second child, a wonderful daughter was born this morning at 10:11am.
It was an interesting day. Katherine Anne was born about an hour after the Nurse told us to go walk around and come back in two hours to get checked again.
It happened so fast my wife didn't get any pain medication. She was only in the delivery rooms for 15 minutes before the baby arrived. I've never seen anyone in so much pain -- thrilled it went so fast.
I am so thankful that mom and baby both are doing great!
Looks like the baby came early ... so the August newsletter will be late.
Congratulations!! :woohoo: Her'es hoping she looks like her Mother!
Our last one is now within two months of birth. Last because of complications requiring a hystorectomy as soon as she's born.
Great news, mlotzii! 15 minutes?!?! Man, I hope we're that short!
Congratulations to mom and dad. Enjoy the years you have them at home. They go by faster than you can imagine. Rule of thumb is to take a few pictures, every week for 6 months, then every month for another year, at least every six months for 5 years, and then at least every year after that. You will not believe how fast they change and if you don't follow this regiment, you'll regret it in later years.
Your story sound similar to what happened to us on our second child. The nurses barely had time to get everything set up and the doctor nearly missed the birth, because he came so fast!
