I like the ubr for the heft of it. it balances the AR10 well, for an adjustable stock. it does have much more than an inch

Correct me if I'm wrong BMS, but his stock looks to be a standard CAR stock with a magazine pouch attached to it? If you are looking for adjustments, and don't mind the weight of the extra hardware, the Magpul PRS is good for that. Especially if you are a tall guy. The comb adjust up quite a bit, and the recoil pad adjust back quite a bit. The stock IS a fixed stock, though.

If you are looking for a stock that has some retractability, then look toward the CAA SRS Stock.

Whoa... 150 bucks... Though he did say at about 38 power it is a little fuzzy but 100% usable. Um... So... Let me get this right, that is the ONLY flaw, SOLD, 1 10 to 40 power scope..! Great review..! Thanks..!

Sniper....is your 24" a Lothar Walther barrel? My "T" has the Lothar 24" on it...and was wondering about it.
I have a Nikon Buckmasters Scope on my Remington 700 SPS (for sale locally) and was thinking of moving it to the AR10. Are you happy with the Nikon on your AR10?
Seems you like Nikon...mine has been flawless on my 700...about the only "issue" is the Larue mount I have is for 30mm scopes (came with the 10) and the Remington scope tubes are 1".
I debated selling the 700 with the scope (currently it's not included)...and getting a different scope for the 10.
Was just getting your take on them...I have the 6-18 x 40, BDC, SF...ect. I have not had a problem with the glass on the 700.
TIA and that's a nice family you have there. B)

NBT, Both 24" are the lothar barrels. As for the nikon on the ar-10 it runs good. I have many more of the nikon buckmaster 4.5X14x40sf mildot on a verity of guns. That is pretty much all I use on everything but I do have a couple bushnells and one leupold. I also have 4 of the prostaff 4x12x40 sf mildot that I like just as much as the buckmaster scopes. I got the prostaff on sale awhile back from midway USA for 165 a pc. I have not been able to find that scope anywhere else so it may be a Midway exclusive. I have the buckmaster on all my ar-10's, ar-15's, and bolt guns in a verity of calibers 243, 25-06, 308, 223, 6.5 grendal, 300 win mag, 7mm STW, 260 rem, 338 federal,. Great scope for the $$$.

(I perfer the mildot personally, I take alot of long range shots on varmints)

Thank you so much for the reply...this is my first AR 10... I hear the Lothar barrel great. Any info regarding ammo that shoot's the best...ect...would be appreciated. Right now it's sighted in, and has only shot 168gr FGMM ammo. Contact via PM is fine...don't want to hijack this thread. Still new here...so I need to get the format of the forum down.
Eventually, I will be looking for a 16" carbine upper for it. Do you know if there are specific uppers I'm "restricted to" with the "10-T"?
I just got through (Oct 3rd)cervical fusion...so after a few more weeks...I could probably take the 10 to the the range....and handle the "impact/pressure". Just need some more PT...and a film to ensure the fusion "took".
Appreciate the feedback. Have a great weekend everyone.

They all look really good, I especially like the carbon FF Tubes, how light are they..?

Since the last post I have gotten a Redfield, 3-9 x 40. It's crystal clear..!

I was looking at a hawk (??) but it just wasn't very clear and when I went up to 24 power it would even distort the cross hairs..!? It also had a 50mm Obj. lens, I just didn't think it looked right, So I went with the Redfield. It looks much better, and since I am only going to shoot around 300 yards, It's quite adequate. Although I have to put a pad on the rifle, I have gorilla arm syndrome, so not as much for the cushion, but for the eye relief (it's well over 3")I'll pick up a recoil buffer for the recoil issues. The barrel looks a little short, I cut it down to 16 1/4" for a little test, I already have a threaded 20", varmint barrel waiting to go on, and I didn't like the two stage trigger, so I swapped it in favor of a Rock River Arms Single Stage piece. But, here she is so far...

Nothing wrong with the redfield MasTequila!, yours looks good to me. You should do just fine with the redfield as long as your not looking to do 500 plus yards.
