I would have to drive 50 miles to find a place to shoot it. My buddy in Alaska has one and he has trouble finding more than 300 yards of open space to shoot his. Blaah!

I had to drive 40 minutes to get to my range and I could only go 400 yards...but it was well worth it to shoot the AR-50....B) I think anyway...and so do most that own one....:dry:
You haven't shot a 50, till you shoot a AR-50...;)

You can shoot 50BMG and full auto at my local range on the 300yd range and they have a 600yd range too. They allow the BMG on the 600yd one as long as you shoot in the right location. The 300yd range is basically in a ravine that is surrounded by high rock ledges so there is no chance of killing somebody in the next town......

I found An Armalite AR-50 for $3699 does that sound like a good deal or not? I am not really sure on the going price for them....

NO...unless it has a decent scope on it or some added things with it...such as the APA bi-pod and mono pod....The price you stated is $340 above what ArmaLite's MSRP is.. and also check if it a AR-50 A1 B...those are the newest models....if it a standard AR-50...then it is a OLDER model..
MrRaley had one up for sale...don't know if he still has it...if you are serious about getting one....other wise I would say contact Uncle Armalite to help you Order one....
I am no EXPERT on the AR-50...but I learned enough in the short time I had one...to know that you can find them cheaper than what you stated as well as order one...depending on your FFL dealer....also...check the STATE you live in...some state "DO NOT" allow ownership of a 50 cal BMG....which is BS...but it is the way it is..
