.45 ammo recall... was created by BUILDING MY SASS
found this on another forum...and I know some of use have .45s.
Thought it worth posting....

Federal has issued a recall for several types of ammunition in 45 ACP. The ammo was loaded with the wrong powder and could cause damage to firearms, and/or injury to the shooter or bystanders.

I usually just buy the standard Federal ammo....for my .45 and of course Hornady and Spear...but I don't shoot those much...to spendy to shoot milk jugs... :laugh: :dry:
One more note on Federal...recently in our store...I have noticed that they have gone to the small primers on the .45, so check them before you buy them...it's not that big a deal...unless you reload, then you will have to switch out your primer set up....but as it stands....I have more than enough empties.... :laugh:
