Latchless Charging Handles was created by jtallen83
Read about a new latchless charging handle in the latest Shotgun News, the Renegade from SLR Rifleworks;

While I was searching for someplace I could order one I ran across another version from Butthead tactical;

Butthead has a 308 version listed but like SLR they don't seem to be available..........has anyone seen these for sale?????

Hey JT- I went over to youtube and found one evaluation on the Renegade and it was not favorable, and a lot of what they where saying made some sense. Go check it out, it was enough for me not to spend any money at this point.

Thanks Lib, I had read some on ARF.com and it seemed favorable but seeing the material eaten away on the upper makes me glad they were not in stok.... saved me $65 :thumbs:

My feeling is if the upper receiver was designed to accept the ball-detent its functionality would improve..
