These time lapse photos show Lake Superior and the Great Lakes freezing up and the huge Lake Effect snows we have had.

The scientists I come into contact with have looked at their models and instead of "Global Warming" are calling it "Climate Change".
Some computer models show that long term effects of the melting of the polar ice cap will lead to lower average temperatures in the centers of the North American and Eurasian land masses. Due to a reduction in strength of the Trans Atlantic Mid Pacific Heat Pump. See the attached photo. Tuis current distributes heat and cold throughout the world, and indications are it is slowing down, due to a reduction in salinity because of melting of the polar ice cap.

I caught the change to "climate change", weather changes, imagine that! :rotfl:
I remember being told in grade school we would be in an ice age by the year 2000. :pinch:

Until the scientist can unhook themselves from today's poison politics nobody will care what they say, right or wrong.

Problem is both parties have politicized science. Used to be the goal was facts and objectivity. Now financial rewards follow those who skew their science for their handlers. The fishery scientists I mostly know are pretty objective, as are the water scientists I know.

I can't seem to find the reference but I watched a good documentary not long ago that explained how science had been corrupted with money and how good objective science was being pushed out. It was a combination of government grants to teaching institutions and corporate sponsored research that they pegged as the problem.
Somehow the scientists are going to have to police themselves and expose the bad science if they want the public educated in any meaningful way.
