Thanks very much for your reply and good advice on lube, I will stop using 20w50 oil and go to grease. Also interested in fighting rifle course is there ever any classes in colorado, Im from springs area. again thanks jon

Great article! We've done a few shoots like this at our club, but not to the tune of 10,000 rounds a piece. I think the most we've gotten to is 1,000 rounds a piece. But still, it will show you what works and what does not. I've seen AR's run with mud and dust and AK's fail with the same amount. I've seen scope mounts break and more jams on all types of weapons, including Glock's. So I fully agree that with the author that all mechanical devices fail, even those that claim they don't!

I actually have Accuwedge's in my AR's and have never had an issue with them.

The acticle make me want to get out and shoot!!

Jon, I still would suggest the Mil-com TW25B gun grease unless you intend to ride your weapon that hard.
