Rail covers have always been a pain in my ass and I've never found anything I'm actually TRULY happy with.

I was looking for parts for different items I have and while looking at stuff for my M4, I stumbled upon an old item I never considered but with something I had never seen before and now have on the way.

There is a fore-end, BIG bucks for the M4 and I'm happy with mine so I never bothered really looking at it and then suddenly bumped into the rail covers they sell for it AND sell separately.

They are polymer and appear to fit right in between the slats of your rails, adding less girth and are also light weight which can also be a bonus.

I just ordered a set of em along with some other el cheapo stuff and thought I'd let you guys have a look.

I (of course) went thru my AR10t.com Amazon portal when making the purchases which I recommend to all our faithful members because doing so adds NOTHING to the prices of what you buy but AR10t.com gets a small cut which helps us all stay in business and in touch.

Here's the link to the parts www.amazon.com/SureFire-Z70-M4-Rail-Cove...eywords=surefire+M80

And here is the link to Amazon THRU our AR10t.com portal www.amazon.com/?ref=ar10-20 so for you new members, if you haven't set your Amazon accounts up thru us yet, please do so. We mods don't get paid (so this is not self motivated) and I only throw this in to keep our site improving and healthy as we all move forward toward wherever it is we are all going.

Got a set of ladders with my PM400, they work fine but are a pain to take on and off. I got the LaRue clips for my AR-10 and love them. They even have guides for the wires and switch on my weapons light;

They only add a tiny bit more girth but do cost a bit more than ladders.

Wow. Those are pretty nice JT. I like the stopper idea too since I'm also a shot-gunner.

Jabbing a shotgun into either hard OR soft things can cause a little hand slippage sometimes and I've had a couple of cut hands from it (not gonna get into those stories though) when suddenly forced to do something other than shoot with it. Stoppers would have been nice... :thumbs:

There are some cheaper knock offs for sale on ebay, about $12 a set. They might even be in the airsoft part of Amazon. My nephew got a set and the only difference I saw was they were a bit stiffer.
