Welcome to Enfield Rifle Company

www.enfieldrifleco.com/

For the first time Enfield™ is bringing an Old World name combined with New World technology to the North American commercial market to give law enforcement and civilian shooters a name that had previously been reserved for military and security forces. Our European connections and modern manufacturing processes from the Northeast have combined to bring our experience of manufacturing for military and private security companies to a broader market. Now we want to bring that experience to law enforcement, shooting enthusiasts and responsible gun owners.
The modern Enfield Rifle Company (MERC™) is a 100% American owned, Georgia based company making the AR platform carbine 100% in the USA. Our concentration is on quality rather than quantity.

Our upper and lower receivers are manufactured under ISO 9001-2008 Certification using 7075 aluminum forgings. They are bead blasted and Type III hardcoat anodized to a spectacular matte finish, just as the US military requires.
Our barrels follow a like process, each one being chrome lined and manganese phosphate finished on the exterior and MP tested. This is why we put our Mil-GRADE™ stamp on it. At assembly we don’t have a production line. Each MERC415™ is assembled by the same craftsman from beginning to end. We believe that this creates a high level of accountability and pride of workmanship that doesn’t have to be shared. Then it is sent to QA to check for appearance, fit and function. After gauge checking and test firing we clean it, oil it, seal it and put it in a hard plastic case for safe shipment to your favorite licensed dealer.
Our goal is to bring the best value to the customer by delivering high quality firearms at the most reasonable prices possible.

LOL

Heck, I went to cash a check the other day and I had to show them my AR first, getting more common than a DL. Gettin to be like Nashville or Austin, every mothers son has a guitar...

While the company sounds good, not sure where their 'wedge' is in the marketplace unless they are betting on the Mil-G.R.A.D.E as the key selling point and made in the USA along with the cool MERC 415 name...but unless I missed it, did not see WHY they call it a MERC 415????

The big question is who is casting their forgings and who is cutting them.

That's one of the bad part of ALL these companies... a lot of them don't even cut their own stuff and pay someone else to do it with an ATF variance filed.

You are right and I have always said all your really need is a garage and you too can be in the AR business, every component can be obtained from someone else.

In fact I have just started my own company: 'We Be AR's'

'AR's AR US'

Ok, so here is the deal guys: I have a 28x52 barn, each of you goes into business out of my barn, got plenty of room. Then I form up a company 'TactiKool ARs'. Then I get investor funding to go buy all your companies for about $25 Million to consolidate and come out with a new AR called TactiKool XZF-SS Water cooled, Laser Guided, High Speed-Low Drag, Belt Fed Individual Supported Survival Weapon and emergency boat paddle. We all get rich...

My question concerns the MPI testing claim. I wonder if they MPI each individual bolt and barrel or if they do lot/batch testing. $1200+ is a little spendy when you can get a Colt's or an Armalite (known quality brands) for several hundred less.

I also wonder if the castle nut on the RE is staked as well.
