:twothumbs: You the man! Somehow I thought that you would be doing something like this. When you get a moment could you post what you think would be the best organization to contribute to for the victims? Glad to hear it didn't affect you or your family.

Just pushed out my last serial of the morning. Waiting to see if I can get more drivers and OHP support for a mid-morning push, so it's kinda quiet right now.

Doing this wasn't by choice. The dealership owner volunteered the use of our 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks to haul donations up to the affected area. And then told me to co-ordinate it all. "You're good with all that detail stuff."

Been living off of coffee and Copenhagen for the last 48 hours. I thought those days were over...

Oh, almost forgot. ARC (American Red Cross) is a great way to contribute to the relief effort. Here's a link to the Daily Oklahoman with a list of relief agencies:

LebbenB wrote: Thanks for all the concern, y'all. We're safe, for now. I'm about 100 miles south of the OKC metro area. Sorry for the silence, but I was kinda busy organizing private support for the tornado that hit Shawnee on Monday and now I've shifted gears to push relief to Moore. Honestly, working with life-long civilians is like herding cats, second only to co-ordinating with state/local governments to get donated food and water where it can do some good.

I've got a 1000 cases of water, about three tons of canned goods and more blankets, tarps, tentage and clothing than I can count loaded on my trucks ready to go with more coming in. My vehicle holding area now looks like LSA Anaconda.

I'll let y'all know how it goes.

A damn fine thing Sir and thank God you and the wife are fine as we all send prayers for everyone else involved.
